William Hubert Ring - Age 56 of Digby passed away September 3rd in Dartmouth General Hospital. Billy “Bill” spent his last 23 years living in Dartmouth and made many friends at Southwood Villa. He loved to spend his days listening to music or talking to his friends about fishing and camping. He was a former member of Digby East Fish and game Association and the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #20. Billy is survived by his mother, Glee Frost, Digby; sisters, Darleen (Dan) Holmes, BC; Janice Ring, Digby; Donna Ross, Digby; brothers, Keith (Rae) Frost, Tiddville; Ronnie Ross (Collette), St. John, NB; Donnie Ross (Ann Melanson) Digby; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Billy was predeceased by his father, Arnold Ring; paternal grandparents, Emden and Mable (Thibault) Ring and maternal grandparents, Howard and Edna Mildred "Rose" (McCullough) Frost. Visitation will be 10-11am with a service to celebrate Billy’s life at 11am on Tuesday September 13th from Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby. Celebrant Diane Axent will officiate. Interment will take place in Victoria Beach Cemetery.
