Edward Robert Parra, Sr. was born on January 19, 1929, and died on March 22, 2016, at the age of 87. He was a truck driver working for both agriculture and freight companies for 30 years. He also served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Edward was preceded in death by his daughter, Beverly Sanchez. He is survived by his two sons, Ed Parra, Jr, of Kingsburg, and Jim Parra of Reedley; and 7 grandchildren, Case, Hannah, Heather, Nathan, George and Lisa.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2016, at the Kingsburg Cemetery.
