Janet Marie Ledbetter

Janet Marie Ledbetter, 83, of Orosi, California, passed away on February 2, 2025. Born in Oregon on January 28, 1942, to Earl and Lilly (Hansen) Nichol, Janet lived a life dedicated to family, compassion, and service to others.

For 45 years, Janet worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, providing care and comfort to those in need. Her warm heart and nurturing spirit touched countless lives throughout her long career. Janet was known for her dedication, her gentle nature, and her unwavering commitment to those in her care.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Cook and husband Richard, and Jan Ledbetter and husband Matthew Tarbell; her beloved grandchildren, Barbara Ann, Jessica Lynn, Brian John, and Carina Marie; and many other extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ledbetter; her parents, Earl and Lilly Nichol; and her daughters, Laury and Lynn.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Janet's legacy will live on in the love she shared and the lives she touched. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and the unwavering love she had for her family.
