Joe is survived by his mother, Maria Nunez, of Orosi; his brothers, Francisco Mendoza, of Visalia, Erik Mendoza, of Orosi, and Carlos Nunez, of Orosi; a sister, Victoria Mendoza, of Orosi; and his fiancée, Jaime Alvarado, of Fresno.
A rosary vigil will be held at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, followed by interment at Smith Mountain Cemetery.
