Joe Rodriguez

On December 24th, 2024, Joe Rodriguez of Dinuba, CA sadly passed away at the age of 65 years old. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Melinda “Nikki” Rodriguez, brothers Isidro Rodriguez, Daniel Rodriguez, Ricardo Rodriguez, Gonzalo Rodriguez, Miguel Rodriguez, Fidel Rodriguez, Victor Rodriguez, Jessie Rodriguez, Eddie Rodriguez, and Roberto Rodriguez, and sisters Maria Trejo, Delores Arroyo, Susie Headlough and Julie Cabanas, also many nieces, and nephews. Joe is preceded in death by his father Daniel Rodriguez, his mother Petra Rodriguez, and brother Bernardo Rodriguez.

Joe’s family moved from McCallen, Texas to Dinuba, California in 1962 as his parents were raising a large family and they followed their work as farm laborers to the area. Joe graduated from Dinuba Highschool in 1978, and then attended Reedley College for mechanics and air conditioning certifications. Joe went on to work many jobs through the years including as a farm laborer, car mechanic, forklift driver, he installed conveyor belts, worked as a landscaper, and retired from Golden State Vitners in 2009. Joe enjoyed playing baseball throughout his youth, he was a classic car connoisseur and enjoyed live music and often took his daughter to shows. Joe enjoyed playing different games like pool, darts, and chess which he lovingly passed along to his daughter.

Funeral services will be held on January 23rd, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Catherine’s in Dinuba, followed by graveside at Smith Mountain Cemetery and reception at St. Catherine’s Parish Hall.

Joe’s daughter Nikki would like to give a special thanks to Kaweah Health ICU nurses and doctors for all of their care and compassion in her father’s final days. She would also like to thank all his family and friends for all of their love and support during this difficult time.
