Norman L Hall

Dr. Norman Hall was the only child born to Clifton & Edna Hall in Chanute, Kansas on December 17, 1931. He died at St. Agnes Hospital Fresno, CA from complications of congestive heart failure on April 15, 2014.

He was a vibrant christian man who committed his life to christian ministry and education. In his professional career he was a pastor at First Baptist Church Geneva, GA, First Baptist Church Junction City, GA, First Baptist Church Garden Grove, CA, First Baptist Church Los Alamitos, CA, and First Baptist Church Orosi, CA. Dr. Hall was also a substitute teacher while completing his doctoral dissertation.

Dr. Hall received his B.A. from Baylor University, Bachelors of Divinity from Southern Seminary, Masters of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary, and a PhD from California Graduate school of Theology.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, E. Joan Hall, and three children; Luanne Stocks, Joy Gilstrap and her husband Dwayne Gilstrap & William Judson Hall. Dr. Hall had eight grandchildren, Ashley, Ory, Kayley, Antony, Holly, Nick, Kyle, & Stephanie. Dr. Hall was also blessed with six great-grandchildren Colby, Bailey, Nicole, Ayden, Owen, & Kierra.

Visitation will be at Reedley Mennonite Brethren Church 1362 L Street Reedley, CA Saturday April 26, at 10 AM, followed by a Celebration of his Life, at 11 AM. Remembrances may be made in his honor to Reedley Mennonite Brethren Church, Camp Scholarship fund for needy children.
