Teodora G. Alvarado was born in Mexico on February 17, 1923, and died in Visalia, CA, on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at the age of 94. She had lived in the Orosi area for the past 57 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eudelio V. Alvarado in 1997.
Teodora is survived by her six sons, Jose Luis, Arturo, Eliazar, Eudelio, Rt, and Isauro; her two daughers, Rita L. Carrillo and Oleida Encinas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 10, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Iglesia de la Communidad in Orosi. The Wake service will begin at 6:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the church followed by burial at Smith Mountain Cemetery.
