Virginia was the beloved wife of Anthony Rubalcaba, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage, and a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was the daughter of Elizabeth and Salvador Huerta, who preceded her in death, and one of ten children raised in a close-knit family in East Orosi. Her surviving siblings include Jacob Huerta, Kathy Martinez, Anita Martinez, Aurora Ortega, and David Huerta.
Virginia attended Orosi High School, where she met the love of her life, Anthony. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and love, raising four daughters who were her greatest pride and joy.
For 25 years, Virginia worked as a medical assistant, a role that reflected her love and genuine desire to care for others. Helping people was not just her profession; it was who she was.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Yvonne, Rachel, Jacquelyn, and Veronica; their partners, Gary, Jerry, and Isaac; her grandchildren, Ashley, Andrew, William, Matthew, Iris, Benjamin, and Nicholas; and her great-granddaughter, Alina.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Anthony; her granddaughter Benét; her parents, Salvador and Elizabeth Huerta; her siblings Salvador III, Richard, Robert, and Henry Huerta; and her cherished niece Kelly Martinez and nephews Frank and Richard Huerta.
Virginia loved life, her family, and the Lord with her whole heart. Her kindness, warmth, and strength left an imprint on everyone who knew her. Though she is deeply missed, her love lives on through her children and future generations.
Forever our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, in-law, cousin, neighbor, and friend.
