Fredrik Wolinsky

Fredrik Wolinsky (son of Harry and Frieda) was born in Albany, NY on March 23, 2026. Cherished husband of Corinne (deceased). Beloved father of Scott (Maria) and Mark (Sue). Proud grandfather of Robert (Sheena), Ethan (Molly) and Laura (Bryce), and great-grandfather of Link and Nova. Fredrik was a concert pianist and teacher. While serving as an Entertainment Specialist in the U.S. Army right after the end of World War II, Fredrik toured throughout Germany, Italy and France performing piano for the armed services with several leading European orchestras. Fredrik studied with the pianist Walter Gieseking and later with Isabelle Vengerova of the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Fredrik also performed concerts with the Albany Symphony Orchestra. Fredrik graduated from the City College of New York with a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, and worked at several firms including Universal Transistor Corporation, Huyck Systems Corporation, GAP Instrument Corporation, Datalog Division of Litton Industries (VP) and Pickering Controls, Inc. (VP of Operations). But in his heart, and to anyone that ever knew him, Fredrik was a true musician through and through.
