She grew up in Brooklyn and later made her home in Far Rockaway and Long Beach. In her later years, Hedda enjoyed time as a snowbird in Boca Raton before settling in Lake Worth. After the passing of her beloved husband, Artie, she returned to New York and spent the last three years of her life at Gurwin Assisted Living, where she was well cared for and enjoyed the community around her.
Hedda is survived by her brother, Bill Horwitz; her three children, Fern, Mitch (Delia), and Dawn (Rob); and her cherished grandchildren, Matt (Liz), Paige, Matthew, and Jason. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, and her kindness will be remembered always
