Howard W. Jaffie left this world on April 24, 2025. Leaving behind his devoted life partner of 30+ years, Diane Rutkowski and her daughters, that he adored as his own, Kim-Marie (Michael) Engel, Michelle Nowosad (Jimmy Raccomandato) and Denise O’Hara (Rick Frase).
Nephew Scott Soloman, and sister Marilyn (Steve) Kerman.
An adored lindenhurst HS teacher and avid Lindy Bulldog sports fan. Howard served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam war stationed in Korea. As a lifetime Lindenhurst resident, Howard and Diane enjoyed wintering in Boca Raton, Florida with their many friends. Howard and Diane are accomplished world travelers. He will be sadly missed.
Services will be on Sunday, April 27th at I.J. Morris funeral home located in Dix Hills at 12:00pm. Burial immediately following Mt. Ararat Cemetery.
