Margarita Alicia McMurtry

Margarita Alicia McMurtry entered into eternal rest on January 5, 2015 at the age of 78 years old. Loving mother of Yvonne, Kirk and Chris (Serena) and cherished grandmother of Nicole, Meagan, Kaitlyn, Samantha, Jack, Dylan, Tiffany and Kelly. Margarita was hardworking, always willing to help those in need, but most of all she was the most loving and caring person any one could be blessed to have in their lives. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children whom she was proud of and loved with more love and tenderness one could ever be blessed with. She adored her eight grandchildren and was always loving, kind and whole heartedly in the moments that they spent together. Margarita will forever be missed and cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

At the family's request a private cremation is scheduled.

The family will be receiving visitors on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 2:00 pm through the evening at the home of Yvonne Leotta, 5 Norman Ct., Dix Hills, New York
