Marilyn Novin was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, retired teacher and friend to many. Her selflessness, grace, dignity, and intelligence were an inspiration to her family and all who knew her. Her personality lent itself to having many friends from many different walks of life. She was famous for creating elaborate and highly personalized birthday cards notes which were keepsakes for all who were lucky enough to receive them. She loved visiting museums, world travels, and anything by Shakespeare and Sondheim. Her favorite city was Florence, Italy and she told everyone she met that they absolutely have to go there. Her vitality and appreciation of all life had to offer will live on in her family and all who knew her. She passed away peacefully in her sleep after a short illness.
