She grew up in Commack, New York before attending Cornell University and SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. For the last 28 years, she was a pediatrician at Woburn Pediatric Associates.
An avid traveler, Sharyn visited over 20 countries on four continents throughout her life. She also loved sports and passionately rooted for the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.
She was survived by her two children, Jeffrey and Laurie Ohlstein, her sister, Lisa Mayer, her brother, David Niederman, and three nieces and one nephew.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 1 PM, September 15th at New Montefiore Cemetery in West Babylon, New York.
