We have so many wonderful memories of our time spent at SGI with Rocky and Gerri. Whether Rocky was fishing in the surf, having a fish smoking gathering, walking his dog, or just strolling the complex, he enjoyed visiting and entertaining his many friends. Thanks for the good times we shared, Rocky!

I along with family and friends work the Blacksmith shop at the Historical Village at Allegan County Fair. This year we were allowed to gather again and celebrate the fair. Meeting new and seeing old friends and acquaintances. I did get to have and enjoy my yearly sitting on the bench, watching the fair walk by with Rockey. I will deeply miss our time that we had to talk and looked forward to visiting with him every year. You will be missed Rockey.

I will always have kind and loving memories of Rockies optimism and happiness you could always see in his smile. I started my career first with working with him and I could not have had a better person to start my career with. He treated me with more care and concern you could starting a career as a young person. I did not get to see him much but when I did he was always a ray of sunshine. I will truly miss him.

Gerri and family our prayers are with you at this time of Rockys passing from this world to be with Jesus. We were returning from a week vacation on Drummond Island while on the short ferry ride back to the main land a gentleman in the next truck over greeted us and asked where we were from. In general we say Grand Rapids since few people know of Dorr, Mi. But we did that time narrow it down to say Dorr. He said do you know ROCKY KURDELSKI? I laughed and said why yes, I cut his wife’s hair and have for many years! Small world we live in! Rest In Peace Rocky.

Thank you Rocky for being such a big part of our Dorr Moose Lodge Family. We are saddened by your passing. You shared so many friendships, stories and adventures and a good game of cribbage with most of us! It’s not Good bye but “cheers” until we meet again…

It must have been the Lords day to catch the big one and take him home. Rocky has left a memory with everyone he came in touch with. He brought the history of the railroad to life at the Allegan Co. Fair. Our sympathy to Gerri and family and our thanks for sharing him with many friends.

I knew Rocky from the Monday night cribbage group at the Moose. I always admired his friendliness and how he was always so even keeled. Even though he beat me consistently at cribbage I will truly miss him. My prayers and condolences to all of his family. May he rest in peace with God.
