Graveside services will be private with Rev. John Holley officiating and Byrd Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Harper was born July 9, 1930 and farmed for most of his life. He served as a Corpman in Korea with the U.S. Army. He was a member of Circle Hill Baptist Church in Two Egg, FL.
Mr. Harper was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Marvin Harper, Sr. and Lillian Dick Harper; his sisters, Jolen Hawkins, Patricia Hill and her husband, J.C. Hill.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews and extended family as well as a brother-in-law, James B. Hawkins of Columbus, GA.
