Raymond Forrester

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Smith officiating and Byrd Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday prior to service time.

Mr. Forrester was born July 26, 1939 in Cottonwood, Alabama to the late Elton and Addieree Beard Forrester. He resided in Columbia for the past 3 years. He loved to fish and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Forrester is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patricia Forrester of Columbia; two sons, Mike (Ginger) of Madrid and Jimmy of Richmond, VA; four daughters, Audrey, Cheryl, and Cindy, all of Richmond, VA and Crystal of north

Georgia; a step-daughter, Tonya (Byron) Mugler of Dothan; three brothers, Hilton, James and John; two sisters, Blondell and Myrtice; 11 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
