Artie J Worthan

Ms. Artie Jo Worthan, age 36, of Douglasville, GA passed away Monday, January 19, 2015. She was born June 6, 1978 in Lithia Springs, GA. Ms. Worthan graduated from Lithia Springs High School in 1996 and was a cheerleader and a member of the Drama Club. She loved to sing, especially karaoke, and enjoyed doing art work. She also liked to hike in the North Georgia Mountains.

Ms. Worthan is preceded in death by her grandparents Graham and Artie E. Hill; grandparents J. Tom and Margaret Worthan and Aunt Cindy Chaffin .

Ms. Worthan is survived by her fiancé, John Prater; father and step-mother Bill and Donna Worthan; mother and fiance Jo Ann Worthan and Sam Cormany, as well as her son William Graham Worthan and sister Erin Elizabeth Worthan; her other sister Amanda (Tony) Payne and family; brother Jonathan (Jamie) Wall and family; Aunt Ginny (Chuck) Bailey and family; Aunt Syble (Tim) Clower and family; Uncle Tom (Linda) Worthan and family as well as many cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Kevin McKoy officiating.
