Dianne Bennett

Carolyn “Dianne” Bennett, age 80, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, September 13, 2024. She was born October 28, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia. Known lovingly as “Sissy” by her family, many of her friends knew her as Dianne. She was a devoted daughter, a beloved sister to her siblings and a doting aunt to her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed painting ceramics and loved Christmas and all things Christmas—and not just at Christmas time. Dianne truly celebrated the Christmas Season all year long.

Dianne is preceded in death by her parents, Albert L. and Bertha Elizabeth Bennett; and a nephew, Dale Clark.

Those left to cherish her memory are sister and brother-in-law, Linda (Eddie) Clark; brother and sister-in-law, Ronny (Marie) Bennett; nieces and nephews, Angela (Jeff) Tuchsherer, Cynthia (Layne) Grantham, Daniel Bennett, Shane (Janet) Smith, Lavon (Mary) Smith and Maria (Kerry) Baker; several great-nieces and great-nephews; several great-great nieces and great-great-nephews; as well as a host of friends. Dianne was loved by all who knew her and her presence will be missed by all who loved her.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel.
