

Doris Hubbard, age 84, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026. She was born on August 24, 1941, in Cool Springs Township, North Carolina, and was a longtime resident of Pensacola, Florida and Douglasville, Georgia.
Doris was the beloved daughter of Grady Cartee and Alma Scruggs, both of whom preceded her in death. A devoted homemaker, Doris took great pride in raising her children and keeping a well-kept home—something she was known to be very particular about. Her home was always a reflection of her care, love, and attention to detail.
She had a creative spirit and loved crafting and jewelry making. Doris enjoyed trips to the beach and was known for her resilience, strength, and unwavering faith. Rooted in her Christian faith, she was sweet by nature, warmly outgoing, and had a genuine love for life. She was also an avid collector of angel figurines and had a special place in her heart for her grand fur babies, whom she adored.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Hubbard (Julie Triplett); her son, Randall Hubbard; and her sister, Hazel Hall. Doris was preceded in death by her siblings.
A church service and interment for Doris Hubbard will be held at Floyd's Creek Baptist Church, located at 2004 Chase High Rd, Forest City, NC, 28043, on February 14, 2026. The service will take place from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
Doris Faye Hubbard was a resident of Douglasville, Georgia.
