Douglas Charles Craft, age 62, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021. He was born January 12, 1959 in Wilmington, Delaware. Douglas grew up in Mystic, Connecticut. He moved to Georgia to attend the University of Georgia, earning his Bachelor’s degree in business. He worked at Six Flags over Georgia, where he met the love of his life. He and his wife married in 1981. Douglas was a devoted husband and a loving father, actively participating in PTA, soccer and Boy Scouts. He worked for Turf Care Products as a sales representative, as well as working in the bakery equipment industry. Douglas was a reserved, quiet man, but known for his quick wit. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching baseball and football, was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed working with his hands.
Preceding him in death was his beloved wife, Becky (Dickenson) Craft; and his parents, Don and Ginger (Crow) Craft.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Doug “D.J.” (Kimberly) Craft; daughter, Jennie (Preston) McCallum; brother, Robert “Bob” (Cindy) Craft; and grandchildren, Adalynn and Amelia.
Visitation will be held at Whitley-Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home on Sunday, February 21st, at 2pm and the Celebration of Life Service will follow at 3pm.
