Elizabeth Doubleday

Ms. Elizabeth Doubleday, age 75, of Douglasville, GA passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016. She was born October 9, 1940 in Macon, Georgia. She loved being a mother and a grandmother; was the owner of Betty’s Treasures; enjoyed taking pictures; travelled a lot, also travelling abroad; enjoyed shopping and watching TV.

Ms. Doubleday was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary McKenna Barker;

She is survived by her son, Carlton (Shannon) Meadows, Jr.; daughters, Lisa (Betsy) Crank, Pam (Roger) Ritchie, Karen (Chris) Powell, Angela (Alan) Goldthwaite; sister, Mary Dominick- Jordan; GRANDCHILDREN, Jeffery, Miranda (Chris), Sarah (John), Stephanie (Rich), Madison, Mason, Alexandria (Brandon), Kyle, Victoria, Danielle, Christy, Carlin, Caleb, Connor, Douglas (Molly), Brandon, Jonathan, and Jacob; GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN, Isabella, Destiny, Zander, Gabriel, Makailee, Ethan, Brooklyn, Daylynn and Daniel; as well as many nieces, nephews and other family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Whitley-Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home on Saturday, May 14, 2016. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
