Gary Donald Lones

Mr. Gary Donald Lones, age 72, of Douglasville, GA, passed away on September 28, 2016. He was born on August 18, 1944 in East Liverpool, OH to the late Donald and Margaret Abrams Lones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Florence Procop Lones. Mr. Lones loved rebuilding classic cars. He enjoyed being a part of the “Romeos,” of which he was a proud member. He was a super handyman. He always said “if someone built it then someone can fix it.” He was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Douglasville. He and his wife, Terry, loved to spend their winters in Florida.

He is survived by his wife, Terry Lones of Douglasville; daughters and son-in-law, Andrea and Jerome Wojciechowski and Caryn Lones; brother, George Lones; three granchildren; five step-granchildren; one great-grandson.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Dr. James Harper officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Lones to First Presbyterian Church of Douglasville, 9190 Campbellton Street, Douglasville, GA 30134.
