Mrs. Jane Ann Hicks, age 86, of Winston, GA passed away Friday, August 7, 2015. She was born October 25, 1928 in Cornelia, GA. Mrs. Hicks loved spending time with her family, was very outgoing and enjoyed life. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hicks was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis M. Hicks; her parents, Garnet and Alwilda McKinney Elrod; a sister, Hazel Elrod Bruce; and her beloved canine companion, Jack.
She is survived by son, Ray M. Hicks and wife Carolyn; son, Lewis Wayne Hicks and wife K. W. Hicks; daughter, Linda Jordan and fiancé Charles Folsom; brother, Garnet “Buck” Elrod; sister, Helen Rutherford and husband Derrell; sister, Jean Sutton and husband James; six grandchildren, Michael Jordan, Michele Cone, Todd Hicks, Marla Milano, Jason Hicks and Martin Hicks; three great-grandchildren, Justin Hicks, Sofie Milano and Vincent Milano; as well as nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, 7305 Highway 166, Douglasville, GA 30135.
