

Judy was preceded in death by her loving parents, Edward Earl Flippo and Willodean Clowers Flippo Goodman, Jesse Goodman, and by brother Michael Flippo.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Leon Head, and her children Stefanie Head Morris and Joshua Head. Judy is survived by her brothers, Jimmy Goodman, Terry Goodman, and her sister, Tracey Goodman Whitley, and their spouses, Denise Goodman, Princess Goodman, and Dariun Whitley. Judy’s greatest joy was her family, including her grandchildren, Kylee Morris and Bradlee Schmidt, and Bradlee’s husband, Josh, and her great-grandchildren, Brennan and Embree Schmidt. Judy also loved her 13 nieces and nephews and 20 great nieces and nephews.
Judy was an accounts professional at American Performance Parts Warehouse for more than two decades, where she was recognized for her dedication and strong work ethic.
In her free time, Judy loved antiquing, thrifting, taking care of her wild birds and admiring the flowers that surrounded her loving home. She was also an avid University of Alabama football fan and proudly supported the Crimson Tide at the detriment of Jimmy and Terry. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family and creating lasting memories.
Visitation for Judy will be held at Whitley Garner @ Rosehaven Memorial Park Funerals and Cremations, located at 8640 Rose Ave, Douglasville, GA 30134, on December 16, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
Judy's funeral service will take place at the same venue on December 17, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Following the funeral service, a committal will be held at Sunrise Gardens of Memories, located at 11261 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134, on December 17, 2025, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
