Mrs. June Clovis Hinson, age 80, formerly of Douglasville, GA passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019. She was born April 19, 1938 in Douglasville, GA. Mrs. Hinson was a member of Bright Star Methodist Church. She enjoyed working with her hands doing many kinds of crafts, especially knitting, crocheting and ceramics. June also liked to read. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Her favorite pastime however, was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Ray Duda and Herbert Hinson; son, Donald Duda and parents, Harrison and Pauline Wright.
She is survived by her sons, David (Terri) Duda and Steve (Deanna) Duda; sisters, Jane (Bob) Francis, Joyce (Charlie) Latham and Judy (Bob) Starrett; five grandchildren, Jenny, Christy, Joey, Clay and Amanda; seven great-grandchildren as well as numerous other family members.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 5 until 8 o’clock pm. A funeral service will be held in the Rosehaven Chapel on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 1 o’clock pm. Interment will follow at Bright Star Methodist Church Cemetery.
