He was born in Douglasville, Georgia, on November 20, 1995, the son of Sharon “Sherry” Sanders, stepfather Hoyt Eugene Sanders, Charles Aaron Stone, and Step-mom Sheralee Stone.
Kevin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald and Patsy Stone, and his aunt, Andrea Roberts of Summerville, South Carolina.
In addition to his parents, left to cherish his memory are his grandparents, Noble and Jannie Lawler; sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Jeffrey Crawford; niece Emma Gray; nephews Joseph, Zac, and Sam Crawford; uncle James Stone; Richard Roberts; aunt Lisa Mitsis; and cousins Alicia Roberts Frankie and Ricky Roberts, Will Timmons, and Tim and Tiffany Stone.
Kevin was a devoted son, a protector, and a beloved friend. Kevin was the kind of person who only came once in a lifetime—a hardworking and an old soul who was sweet, funny, and determined. His passion for working on his Acura reflected his love for craftsmanship, always taking the time and care to perfect everything he touched. Kevin was a man of unwavering faith; no matter the challenges, he always trusted God. Mentally and physically strong, Kevin faced hardships with a sense of resilience that inspired everyone around him.
Dependable, honest, and forthright, Kevin was the son every parent would be proud to have. Even when he had life struggles before him, and at the end years of his life, he had completely turned his life around and was successful. He was selfless and always put others’ needs before his own. He donated $200 weekly to a women’s shelter for single moms and their children in Newnan, Georgia, and even devoted his time to helping in the kitchen. His protective nature made him a pillar of strength for those lucky to know him. Kevin’s spirit will forever live on in the memories of those who loved him—he was truly one of a kind.
Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of love, strength, sense of humor and unwavering faith will continue to guide and inspire us daily.
