Linda loved traveling when she had the opportunity and especially enjoyed trips to the mountains.
She was a part of “The Beulah Bunch”, a group of longtime friends who worked together at Beulah Elementary, and they remain close to this day. Mike has people stop him all the time to let him know what an impact his Mom had on them when she was a Para Pro at Beulah. During her career, she also worked in the Commissary for the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Krista) McKenney; daughter, Michele (Joel) Mahaney; and granddaughter, Christen Mahaney (Nicholas King).
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Powder Springs City Cemetery.
