Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Alexander; and her parents, Charles J. and Dussie Vaughn Bynum.
She is survived by her son, Bynum Holdbrooks and wife Angie; brother, Charles Bynum and wife Pat; grandchildren, Todd Elliott and wife Heather, Hannah Holdbrooks and Alex Holdbrooks; niece, Cheryl Bynum; and great-nephew, Dainen Smith.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at her home at 7031 Pinecrest Drive, Douglasville, GA 30134.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in memory of Mrs. Alexander to the Humane Society.
