

Mike was born in Douglasville, Georgia to the late Chester and Nettie Camp. Mike is survived by Robin, his wife of 48 years, four sons Ryan (Brittany), Jonathan (Casee), Stephen (Lauren), Andrew (Courtney) and 17 grandchildren. Also survived by two sisters Carolyn (Jim) Whitmore, Diane (Ikey) Watson and three brothers Larry, Donald (Penny), Jimmy Camp.
Mike developed lifelong friendships while playing softball, basketball, hunting, fishing, and golfing. He was an avid sports enthusiast who passionately cheered on the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves.
Mike and Robin later moved to Tallapoosa, Georgia where he enjoyed life after retiring from Coca Cola. A man of faith, Mike was an active member of Providence Baptist Church. Through the years, he enjoyed traveling with family and friends. His 17 grandchildren kept him busy attending their activities. Later he moved to Bremen to be closer to family.
He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and faithful friend. His sense of humor, infectious smile and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He will be missed by all.
Services will be held in Whitley Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home in Douglasville, Georgia, on Saturday, January 3, 2026. Viewing from 11:00 - 2:00 pm. Services at 2:00. Interment will follow at Sunrise Gardens of Memories, located at 11261 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134.
