Peggy lived a faithful Christian life and was a devoted member of her church community. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, whom she loved deeply. An avid reader, Peggy also cherished being outdoors, where she found peace and contentment in nature.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Donna Avant (James) and Melisa Price (Kenneth) ; her cherished grandchildren, Brandon Avant (Lindsey) and Sydnee Avant; and her treasured great-grandchild, Parker Avant. She is also survived by her sister, Carol Holland.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved grandchild, Justin Osborne; her sisters, Shirley Ann Jolley and Helen Nash; and her brother, Dennis Jeffrey.
A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held on January 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Ephesus Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Peggy will be remembered for her kind spirit, unwavering faith, and the love she so freely gave to her family and all who knew her.
