Peggy Abernathy Hallmark

Peggy Abernathy Hallmark, age 72, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023. A Georgia native, she was born July 13, 1950 in Fulton County. A very devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Peggy was feisty and strong, especially when defending her family. She was always involved in the sports in which her boys participated and was a very supportive mother in the boys’ school activities and PTA. In her spare time, she liked to draw and was a talented artist and painter and she loved spending time with Mike. Preceding her in death were her beloved husband, Walter L. Hallmark; and her parents, Floyd and Annie (Vandiver) Abernathy. Those left to cherish her memory are her longtime companion, Mike Hulsey; sons, Stephen Jeffery “Jeff” Hallmark (Anne Marie) of Temple, Georgia and Adam Hallmark (Selena Carnevale Hallmark) of Queens, New York; sister, Shelby Moore; two grandchildren, Jacob Hallmark and Dylan Hallmark; two great-grandchildren, Eric Hallmark and Luke Hallmark; as well as other extended family members and many friends.
