Randy proudly served his country as a dedicated member of the National Guard. He always spoke highly of his time in the service and truly valued the experiences and friendships he gained during those years. Randy had a deep love for his family and enjoyed every moment he spent with them. One of his favorite times of the year was football season—he was a huge fan of the University of Georgia Bulldogs and looked forward to cheering them on each fall. GO DAWGS!
In addition to football, Randy had a passion for motorcycles and classic cars. He loved going to car shows, working on engines, and riding through the countryside on his bike. NASCAR was another one of his favorite pastimes, and he rarely missed a race Randy also enjoyed playing his guitar. He retired from Honda after 30 years of dedicated service, and he was a proud member of Prays Mill Baptist Church. His kind heart, adventurous spirit, and love for the simple joys in life will always be remembered by those who knew and loved him.
He was welcomed into Heaven by his daughter Shelly Lynn Smith and two brothers, William and Wayne Smith.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 39 years Mrs. Beverly Smith; daughter Shay Dubis; granddaughter Kayley King and special chosen family, Mitchell Pearson, Cory Pearson, Brandi Pearson, Lily Grace Pearson, Montgomery Pearson and his fur baby Angel.
