Mr. Roger Dale Thomas, age 48, of Douglasville, GA passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016. He was born September 19, 1967 in Birmingham, AL. Mr. Thomas loved spending time with his family. He loved fishing, watching TV and was an avid Alabama football fan. He enjoyed animals and playing with his grandchildren.
Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Roger Thomas; his step-father, Bobby Williamson; and his grandparents, Mack and Minnie Thomas, and Verbon and Margaret Henderson.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Grimm; mother Ann Williamson; son, Anthony; step-children, Anna (Brian) Singleton, Adam (Tulisia) Grimm, Gene (Kalina) Grimm, Christine Grimm and Tina (Josh) Grimm; brother, J. T. Williamson; sisters, Dana (Marquise Walker) Thomas and Staci (BJ) Williamson; 11 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, as well as other family members.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Following the visitation, Mr. Thomas will be cremated and a memorial service in Rosa, AL will be planned at a later date.
