Tina Marie Dougherty

Tina Marie Rowland Dougherty gained her wings on February 25th 2026. She was born July 27th 1964, in Ft. Oglethorpe GA. She grew up in a military family moving around a bit but found her way home to Georgia in the end. Those who knew her, would say she was a kind soul who was always willing to help. She loved to read romance novels and was a known shopaholic who never turned down a good deal.

She leaves a legacy behind in her two daughters, Alexa Laray Dougherty (s. James Alexander) and Chante' Dougherty Vaughn (s. Joseph Vaughn). She was blessed and known by Mimi to her grandchildren, Jordyn Dougherty (s. Quintis Johnson), Aiden Dougherty, Seth Salter, Anderson Carter and Hazley Vaughn. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Zaidyn, Zyvon, Zhier, Zaki Johnson-Dougherty and Rose Mary Rollins. She leaves a brother, Mark Rowland (s. Barbara Jean Raines Rowland) with nieces, Crystal Rowland, Brandy Raines and nephews, Trajan Rowland and Ronnie Raines. She was surrounded by love in this life with many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss the light she had. She will be missed.

The family will receive friends at Whitley Garner Funeral Home Friday, March 6 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm with funeral services being held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Cemetery. Whitley Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements of Tina Marie Dougherty.
