I played softball with lauren. Mrs. Alexander was a great women. She was always so sweet to us girls.  I will keep your family in my prayers.

To the Alexander and Few Families,
I would like to offer my sincere condolences in the lost of Vickie.  I speak on behalf of the Shackleford family and express appreciation for the excellent care that Vickie provided to our mother, Eva Louise Delay, as her caregiver. Vickie was kind hearted, friendly,  firm and sincere when rendering care and most responsible.  I am sure that she demonstrated these traits as she related to others.

Vickie and I knew each other since young girls. I shall miss her we had wonderful memories from daily school life always had us laughing. She definitely was a jewel. Rest my friend. My condolences to her family. I remember she was so nice to me when I came into the cafeteria at NMES. 

Vickie was such a caring, kind-hearted, and generous woman who ALWAYS thought of others. 

Vickie continuously told fun stories and spoke of her siblings, children, and grandchildren. It was obvious to anyone who was around her that she loved them very much. She watched and cared for our little Ava daily for the last 2 years and loved both of our girls. Vickie and Ava created such a special bond and were inseparable during the weekdays. Ava would always be so excited to jump into Vickie's arms on Monday mornings and we never knew when we'd pick Ava up with a new adorable outfit that Vickie saw over the weekend and "just had to get." :) 

Vickie - whenever we look at Ava, our family will always see your caring smile and hear your kind voice. We will also miss our nightly belly laughs and watching "Family Feud" shows together. 

We love you Chris, Lauren, Jeremy, Jana, and family (kids). You are so blessed to have had such a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Vickie was full of joy.  Vickie's daughter, Lauren and my daughter, Dee, played softball for many years, that where I met her.  She was a very funny person, warm and very friendly, we shared many Saturdays and Sundays on the softball field.  She will be surely missed.


RIP  Vickie . Your light ,your smile and your love  will always shine bright and be felt in the hearts of those who loved you. I know you are rejoicing with Jesus and your family members in Heaven right now. Family put all your trust in God . He has the answer to every question you might ask at this sad time in your life. Just Keep Calm and Trust Him.  He will see you though.

I’m praying for your strength, just know that your mother and father are together again and will be your angels in Heaven. Lean on each other a be proud that God gave you Vickie as a mother. She loved you guys with every inch of her being. She loved to laugh and talk about each of you. She left you full of love, so when times get rough, fall back on that love. Close your eyes and see her smile, she is right here with you. I love you guys. Ms SeCe

Wow I am still in disbelief and sadden. I will miss the inspirational memes and posts passed between the two of us.  And I think we both shared the same sentiments on politics, I would actually go in hard and get a joyful smile when I'd see her "he's crazy" on a post😊 God's got you in his loving care and you are now reunited to your wonderful husband and will run into other familar faces.  You will be missed by your beautiful family and friends  and will be in thought and never forgotten. RIH💖🌹🌅

Vickie  was such a warm and awesome woman, I will not be able to attend the service but I want Lauren and her brothers to know she was such a sweet and caring woman and she will be missed, RIP  my friend

I've known Vickie for many years, our children grew up in the same neighborhood together even attending the same schools.   I  will never forget her smile and laughter.   Vickie loved her family and friends and more importantly was her love of our Lord and Savior.   You will be missed Vickie ❤❤❤

Vickie (sister n law) was such a loving person. Anytime you needed her she was there. I had issues with my leg and was on bed rest for 3 days she made a cake and white chicken chilli and brought it down to me. She never asked for anything in return. She has been there for me on other occasions. This is so hard. But i know it's even harder for her kids my Neice and Nephews. I love you Vickie and you will forever be in our hearts. Rest easy.

I want to send my prayers to all of the alexander family and friends. Shes in heaven now and reunited with her loving husband. Always watching down and knowing that you will all see her again. God bless and amen.

I'm going to miss Aunt Vickie. She was a beautiful person. I loved to see her smile. Everytime we saw each other we always hugged and laughed about one thing or another. Years ago I told her I saw this nice coach purse that I liked.... Well she came by and left the money at my job for me to go get it. I was pleasantly surprised and happy. Aunt Vickie I love you. ♥️♥️♥️.
