Wanda was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife. She is survived by her two daughters, Brittney West and Brooke West, and her granddaughter - her sunshine - Brylie West; and her siblings, Paula Phillips (Bill), Craig Wofford, and Dave Wofford (Denise) along with many Harlin cousins, Eller family and numerous nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 45 years, Ronald “Ronnie” West, and her sister Marie Agnew.
Wanda devoted 45 years to her work at S.P. Richards. She took great pride in her work and was known for her unwavering dedication, strong work ethic, and genuine kindness toward everyone she worked with. Wanda was the kind of coworker others could always depend on—patient, steady, and willing to help without hesitation.
Wanda found joy in life’s simple, meaningful moments. She loved to travel, especially to the beach, where she cherished every moment spent by the water. A devoted University of Alabama football fan, she took great pride in tending her yard and kept a home that was always warm, neat, and welcoming to all who walked through her door. Above all else, Wanda treasured the time she spent with her husband and family, finding her greatest happiness in being surrounded by those she loved.
She had a special love for country music, especially the songs of Gary Allan, and attending concerts brought her so much excitement and happiness. A woman of strong Christian faith, Wanda carried her beliefs quietly but deeply, relying on them for comfort and strength throughout her life. In quieter moments, she enjoyed working puzzles, which brought her peace and a sense of calm.
Those who knew Wanda will forever remember her gentle spirit, kind heart, and selfless nature. She had a way of putting others before herself and offering comfort simply through her presence.
Wanda’s love and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her beloved husband and parents. She will be deeply and forever missed.
