

William “Bill” Edward Bercich, Jr., age 72, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020. He was born January 30, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois. Bill was a great husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved fishing, golfing and sports. He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports most of all. Out of high school, Bill played professional baseball for the San Francisco Giants. He coached baseball in the community for several years, had a career as a successful salesman and was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents, William E. and Valerie (Symowitz) Bercich, Sr.; and a daughter, Nikki Bercich.
Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 52 years, Victoria Bercich; children, Monice, August, Bria, Euri, Boujon, Mieko and Madison; sister, Beverly; grandchildren, Stazia, Vinnie, Devin, Trevor, Blaed, Cooper, Charley, Jake, Izzy, Dax, Austin and Lily; great-grandchildren, Clash, Ashton and Cass.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Pastor Sam Braswell officiating. Entombment will follow in Rosehaven Memorial Park.
