Pastor William Earl Billingsley, age 61, of Riverdale, GA, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019. There are many things to be said about William: he was brilliant, humble, articulate, creative, inspiring, and humorous. He was also exceptionally organized and liked to color code everything! He was an influential activist for the DeKalb and surrounding communities, taking part in numerous organizations, such as the Georgia Fatherhood Program which focuses on uplifting children who grow up without prominent male figures in their lives. As an entrepreneur, he founded Hope Counseling and Care Ministry and WEB Ministries. Dear brother, even tho we didn't grow up in the same state i am very much aware that you are/were my big brother and no one could take that away regardless of the situation that occurred during our younger years (which I'm not really sure as to what happened) but I always acknowledge having an older brother and wished we could have gotten to kno each other, When I got the call all I could do was just stare at the wall all day, I can't even describe what I was feeling cause idk myself, I just couldn't believe another one of my mom and dad children has gon on with the Lord and I never got the chance to say, I Love You.....So with that being said I Love you brother S.I.H.
From your sister Sheryl (the oldest girl)

For a few years, I worked in the same department with William at GPTC. He was always a pleasant, hard-working man. He will truly be missed. No doubt, he will be missed even more by close friends and family. Knowing that my dead loved ones are in God’s memory and he promises to resurrect them, comforts me. (John 5:28, 29) Hopefully, that thought will give you a measure of comfort too.
