

Didi was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti on December 6th, 1969, a son of the late Elias and Evelyn St Vil. He graduated from Canado Haitien High School, class of 1989 and moved to Canada / USA in 1990.
Music was his passion and he loved to share his gift with everyone. As many used to call him “Didi Zenglen” , he was a composer, producer and an Audio engineer. He could also fix anything. He was a tinkerer and loved to tackle hard tasks.
Despite his health issues, He remained positive and relied on his faith. “Trust God, He never fails” as he always said. He enjoyed life, always smiling, joking, and laughing until his last breath.
He was predeceased by his father, Elias St Vil; his mother, Evelyne Pierre St Vil; and his sister, Edeline St Vil.
He is survived by his wife Yamilee Antoine; his children, Yves Elias St Vil, Melody Ann St Vil, Daniel Richard St Vil, Sarah Ann St Vil; and his granddaughter, Vanelie Harmony Tanis. He also survived by his brothers, Junior Elias St Vil, Stanley St Vil, and Stevens Emilus; by his sisters, Edwine Fabiola St Vil-Lindor and her husband, Claude Lindor, Thanicha Garnelle St Vil, and Valerie St Vil; his stepmother, Guirlene Mode Taylor as well as by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be from 5 – 7 pm on Friday, January 24th, 2025 at Whitley Garner Funeral Home 8640 Rose Avenue, Douglasville Georgia. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Saturday, January 25th, 2025 at St Theresa of the Child Jesus, 4401 Prestley Mill Road, Douglasville Georgia. Burial will follow in Rose Haven Cemetery in Douglasville.
