Gary Gene Harrison

Gary Gene Harrison was born October 28th, 1939 in South Gate, CA, grew up in Bell Gardens, CA and graduated from Bell Gardens High School in 1957. After some college he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served 2 years. He joined special forces and was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. After being honorably discharged he became a machinist, a career he had for 40+ years. He was honest and kind and loved golfing and fishing. He told tall tales to kids and anyone from out of state. He bragged about his grandkids and children. He is survived by his Wife of 40 years, Carolyn Harrison, Daughter, Rhonda Dauglash, Son, Eric Harrison, and Grandchildren, Brittany Dauglash, Amanda Harrison and Ethan Harrison. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Memorial Services to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, January 15th at 2:00 pm at Messiah Lutheran Church located at 10711 Paramount Blvd., Downey 90241.
