

Mrs. Kessler was born September 16, 1925 in Walburn Run, Brockway the daughter of Frans Johnson and Freda (Hartzell) Rupert.
Mrs. Kessler had retired from Brockway Glass.
She was affiliated with the Sabula United Methodist Church
Mrs. Kessler enjoyed quilting, crocheting and playing cards. She enjoyed spending time with her family, loved her dog Buffy and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirate fan.
She is survived by her husband, Willis E. “Curly” Kessler whom she married January 29, 1986, five children; Barbara Haymaker and her husband Carl of DuBois, Susan Calliari and her husband Brad of DuBois, Wanda Ramirez and her husband Romeo of Tuson, Az, Vernetta Costner of DuBois and Elviria Hanzely and her husband Michael of Brockport, two step children, Timothy W., Kessler of Youngstown, PA and Stephanie Stepp and her husband Larry of Beaver, PA, twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters; Fran Johnson of DuBois, Clara Chittester and her husband Gordon of DuBois, Hank Rahalla of Brookville and David Rupert and his wife Wanietta of Reynoldsville and numerous nieces and nephews
Mrs. Kessler was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Blair Coleman, a son, Norman P. Coleman and a granddaughter, Nichole L. Haymaker .
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June23, 2012 at the Mohney Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc., of DuBois with Rev. Dr. Debra Rogosky officiating. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M . and on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of services.
The family suggests that contributions be made to charity of donor’s choice.
