Barbara Florence Spencer

Born on August 24, 1945 in DuBois the daughter of the late Victor and Maxine(Christian) Kalgren.

She was a member of Zion Baptist Church and attended Gelnett Memorial Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and reading her bible. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her two daughters: Tammy (Duane) Wood of Curwensville and Vickie (Daryl) Almendarez of DuBois; a son: Timothy Spencer of DuBois. Also survived by a brother Victor Kalgren of Indiana, Pa, six grandchildren: Zack(Treesa), Chyrie(Jim), Shelby, Shiree(Dustin), Nick, Alyssa. Three adopted grandchildren: Chelsea, Bobbi and Mariha; and one great-grandchild Tyler.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Pastor Timothy Spencer.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, December 12, 2011, at the Mohney Yargar Funeral Chapel with Pastor Richard Engle officiating.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the funeral home. An additional hour of viewing will be held on Monday from 10:00AM until the time of service.
