

He was born on November 2, 1950 the son of James M. McKee and the late Ila (Wallwork) McKee.
Jimmer was a graduate of DuBois Area High School in 1968 and Pennsylvania State University in 1972 with a degree in Accounting. He was a member of the US Army Reserves from 1972 to 1978. He was employed at Brockway Glass for 19 years and the Department of Welfare in Clearfield County for 20 years.
He was a member of Garfield Lodge #559 F + A.M, Falls Creek Eagles where he served as an officer, American Legion and PIAA official for wresting, baseball and softball. He was the regional director of the Legion Baseball, where he enjoyed coaching various sports. Jimmer enjoyed spending time with his family.
Jimmer is survived by his Father, brother William and his wife Cloe McKee of Falls Creek and a sister Sylvia Lingenfelter of Reynoldsville. He is also survived by six nieces and newphews: Jason(Wendy) Lingenfelter, Kelly(Bryant) Mcaninch, Cindi(Jared Duran) Lingenfelter, Benjamin McKee, Robert McKee and James McKee; ten great nieces and nephews and step mother Dee(Burns)McKee.
He was preceded in death by his mother and brother in law Denny Lingenfelter.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday May 2, 2013 at Mohney Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. with Pastor David Bish officiating. Full military honors will be accompanied by the DuBois Area Honor Guard. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Wednesday May 1, at the Mohney Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. A masonic memorial service will be held at 7:00pm by the Garfield Lodge #599 F. + A.M. An additional hour of viewing will be held on Thursday from 10am until the hour of service.
