

John was born on August 27, 1935 in Big Soldier, PA, a son of the late Arthur Brocheys and Mildred(Fye) Brocheys-Gaul.
He worked at Brockway Glass as a Machine Operator for 30 years and retired in 1990. John was a member of the VFW and Glass Blowers Association. He was an avid hunter and many of his prize trophies are displayed in Darios Bar.
He is survived by two daughters: Jackie(Andy) Canter of DuBois and Jody(Ed) Miller of St. Marys; three step children: Cheryl Vardy of DuBois, Tom(Donna) Vardy of Punxsutawney, Paula Coyle of Clarington and step-grandchildren and great step-grandchildren. Also survived by four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
John was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Preceding in death by his parents, sister, Doris Pifer and brother, Harold Brocheys and a step-father William Gaul.
Private family viewings will he held on Monday, September, 12, 2011 at 1:00PM at Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel in DuBois.
A funeral service will be held immediately after with Rev. David Nagle officiating. Full military honors will be accorded by the VFW Post #813 Honor Guard at the funeral home. Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
