John "Dave" McFall

Born on December 27, 1947, in DuBois, the son of John and Mary “Louise”(Grube) McFall. On June 8, 2012 he married Deniece (Taylor) McFall, she survives.

He was a graduate of DuBois Area High School class of 1965 and was employed at Brockway Glass until his retirement. Dave also was employed as a dispatcher for DuBois City and Mohney Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc.

Dave was a member of Garfield Masonic Lodge #559 F & AM of DuBois where he served as a Past Master, the Shriners and Captain of 4th Ward Hose Company for the past nine years. He was also in the United States Army Reserves. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by mother Mary “Louise”(Grube) McFall of DuBois, three daughters: Michele(Joseph) Golanka of DuBois, Jennifer McFall of DuBois and Suzanne McFall of DuBois; three grandchildren: Bryant Keith Dahl, Kristi Ann Louise Dahl and Austin Paul Dahl all of DuBois; a sister Linda(James) May of York and a neice Melissa(Damon) Peck of York and nephew Daniel(Maria) May of York.

Mr. McFall was preceded in death by his father John McFall and twin infant brothers: Roy and Robert McFall.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 7, 2012 at the Mohney Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. with Rev. David Nagele officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-9pm on Thursday, September 6, at Mohney Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. An additional hour of viewing will be held on Friday from 10am until the hour of service. A Masonic Service will be provided by the Garfield Lodge #559 at 5:45 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
