Sara Jane Harvey

Sara Jane (Jordan) Harvey, 84, formerly of Rockton Road in DuBois, PA, died Sunday February 26, 2012, at Sunrise of Galloway in Absecon, NJ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter R. (“Zork”) Harvey.

Born on June 16, 1927 in Rockton, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Myrna Jordan.

She was a graduate of DuBois High School and former member of St. John’s Church in Oklahoma and spent most of her career as a self-employed beautician. She enjoyed gardening, watching hummingbirds, and frequent visits from thoughtful relatives and neighbors.

She is survived by three children: Janis G. Silverio of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; Gary L. Harvey of Woodland Park, CO; James B. Harvey of Cranberry Twp, PA; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 2 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Mohney-Yarger Funeral Home, in DuBois.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 3 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor John White presiding. Burial will follow in the Rockton Cemetery.
