
Born in Sherrett, PA on July 23, 1918, a daughter of the late William H. and Anna M. (Ebbeson) Earley. She was a 1936 graduate of Beechwoods High School.
Mrs. Barraclough was employed with Jackson China in Falls Creek for 25 years then with Montgomery Ward of DuBois for 25 years unitl she retired. She was a member of Falls Creek United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Barraclough was a member of the Friendly Club, formerly active with the DuBois Nursing Home Auxiliary, a registered volunteer of the RSVP, and volunteer at DuBois Regional Medical Center. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed spending time with her family and arts and crafts.
Surviving are a son, Robert C. Barraclough and his wife, Eleanor of DuBois; two grandchildren, Suanne Barraclough Byrne and her husband, Robert of Troutville and Steven Barraclough and his wife Ann of Michigan; and six great grandchildren.
Also surviving are a brother, Donald L. Earley and his wife Deloros of Fayettville, NC and a niece and nephew.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, William C. Barraclough, who passed away on February 8, 1964, a grandson, R. Scott Barraclough and a brother, Herbert E. Earley.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mohney and Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc., DuBois with Rev. Dr. Debra Rogosky officiating. Interment will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from 6-8 P.M. and on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of services.
