

Born in DuBois on May 16, 1919, she was a daughter of the late James and Ida (Beam) Gearhart. She is the wife of the late Charles “Dude” Marsh who passed away May 23, 1997.
She was a faithful member of the Salem United Methodist Church, Salem Ladies Aide and Salem Choir. She was employed at Cairn’s and Adamson’s Markets and Palumbo’s Meat Market
Mrs. Marsh enjoyed doing word searches, watching the weather and news channels and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna (Lon) Baird of Luthersburg and Joanne (Randy) Baird of DuBois; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by a sister, Betty Crosby and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Marsh is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Charlie Marsh; two sisters: Viola Horn and Verna Dahrouge; and 3 brothers: Merle, Clarence and Arthur Gearhart.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel with Reverend Howe officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received from 4-8 PM on Monday April 25, 2011 at the funeral home. Additional viewing will be held from 10AM until the hour of services on Tuesday.
