It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Lee Bozzo (Pfaff), beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Carol peacefully departed from this world on May 4, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio, at the age of 80.
Born on May 21, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Carol’s life was a testament to the love of family and loyalty to friends. She touched the lives of many with her warmth, humor, generosity and spirited personality.
Carol leaves behind beloved sons Trent (Mindy) Bozzo and Chad (Sarah-Kate) Bozza along with cherished grandchildren, Calvin and Emma Bozzo, Caroline and Grey Bozza. She is also survived by loving siblings Millie Pinkerton, and Rich (Linda) Pfaff, and a host of extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her presence.
Throughout her years, Carol made Westerville, Ohio, her home, where she cultivated friendships and touched the lives of many. Among her many hobbies, she enjoyed baking, gardening, and Christmas crafting. She was dedicated to her sons’ many activities including Annehurst Swim Team and various soccer clubs. As a young woman, she was an avid bowler and played in multiple bowling leagues. She dedicated many years of volunteer service with TWIG (Central Ohio women’s organization supporting Nationwide Children’s Hospital) and Dwell Community Church of Westerville.
A memorial service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017. In honoring Carol’s memory, friends and family are invited to share stories, memories, and moments of joy that she brought into their lives.
